Although I did have to make a few “adjustments” to the plunger, this innovative product will provide for exactly what we wanted…an easy way to open the dang hood!
The “adjustment” that I had to make was to take a 1/4″ drill bit to clean out any residual plastic from the 3rd printer on the inside where the rod goes. I also made the hole ever so slightly deeper. I had to do this because when I fIRST INSTALLED the product the hood release remained open…I was not able to lock the lid shut.
3D Fushion were quick to recognize my concern. Obviously a company wanting to keep their product to be of good quality.

Great product. I have a 2021 (1025r). After widening the hole in the side panel (slightly), the device fit and works perfectly. Note to other potential customers –>the possible need to widen the opening was clearly called out in the instructions. So, there were no surprises. The whole install took only a few minutes.

JUST INSTALLED A YELLOW BUTTON WITH BLACK PUSH ON MY 2022 2025r. FIT LIKE A CHARM WITH NO MODIFICATIONS. TOOK ME LONGER TO FIND MY 11MM WRENCH THEN TO COMPLETE THE REMOVAL / INSTALL. My hood latch broke on my 4066R after 35 hours. It was such a pain to fix since the latch rod fell into the engine cavity.

i INSTALLED THE HOOD RELEASE AND HAD TO DRILL OUT THE BUTTON A LITTLE DEEPER BECAUSE THE HOOD DIDN’T LATCH WHEN i SHUT THE HOOD. i AM EXTEMELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR SOLUTION TO THE EASE OF OPENING THE HOOD. I have a 2024 jd 1025R and it does FIT. However, Once the rod is inserted into the button, the hood will NOT latch /lock and remain closed. It appears the rod is not allowed to relax enough. I needed to slightly modify the inside of the button by drilling the hole a bit deeper, maybe 1/8″. Doing this allowed the rod to relax and the hood to latch correctly.
